Bob Martin

Bob Martin is a lifelong resident of Cabell County. He attended St. Peter Claver Catholic Elementary School, Oley Junior High School and graduated from Huntington High School. He earned  bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Marshall University in history.

Martin worked with his father, Robert Martin, and the Martin Transfer Company before going to work as the program coordinator for at-risk children for the City of Huntington from 1994-99. He then served as director of the Fairfield East and A.D. Lewis community centers from 1999-2000 and then solely as director of the A.D. Lewis center from 2000 until his retirement in 2011.

Martin is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and is involved in the church’s music ministry.
