Alan Letton
Alan Letton came to Huntington in 2008 when he was hired as the President and Chief Technical Officer and member of the Board of Directors for Rubberlite, Inc. He had served as the interim Vice Chancellor for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies at North Carolina A&T and as the Chief Science Officer and Senior Vice President of Research, Quality and Engineering at the Sealy, Inc.
He grew up in Chicago, Ill and attended and graduated from high school in Frankfort, KY. Alan continued his educational career at MIT and received his PH.D. in chemistry engineering and material science from the University of Cincinnati.
Alan has served on several boards, has founded several not-for-profit organizations as their executive officer and has over 100 articles, patents, and book contributions.
Alan has traveled the world and played as a jazz musician and for a while as back up for Nancy Wilson.
He is currently working as an independent consultant in the areas of patent litigation expert support, technology management, community development and executive management. He is part of a team that helps companies manage culture change, leading the diversity and inclusion focus of the partnership, Culturim.
