Rosemary Crozier

Rosemary Crozier came to Huntington from Covington, Virginia, when she was 14 years old. She graduated from Douglass High School and took several courses at Marshall University.

She worked for Southwestern Community Action Council for more than 30 years as a community outreach worker. She made referrals to other agencies and provided resource information to members of the Huntington community. In the early 1990s, she received a proclamation from Mayor Bobby Nelson.

Crozier was active in her church, The Original Glorious Church, for more than 30 years but moved her membership to Bishop Charles Shaw’s church, Real Life Christian Center Church, when he began his ministry there. She was a proud member of the Republican Party and a member of the Cabell-Huntington branch of the NAACP.
